The North Carolina Tar Heels and the Vanderbilt Commodores head off to TD Ameritrade Park Omaha on Wednesday, June 22, 2011 at 7:00 PM ET. Neither of these teams have lost in postseason play after sweeping both the Regionals and the Super Regionals.

North Carolina is led by their pitching, especially starting pitching.  Their team has a combined 3.26 ERA this season and Patrick Johnson (13-1, 2.27 ERA), the team's ace, will take the mound against Vanderbilt on Saturday. The team averages seven runs of offense per game and they will certainly need all seven of those runs if they want to beat Vanderbilt.

The Vanderbilt offense has been explosive this post season and have posted 46 runs in just five games.  Sonny Gray (11-3, 2.01 ERA) is expected to get the start for Vanderbilt in game one.  Gray has had a great year for the Commodores and he will need to bring his best stuff out against a talented North Carolina team.
